The Alberta Junior Hockey League is proud to announce a new partnership with Gas Drive as the title sponsor of the League Championship for the 2012-2013 season. The AJHL Gas Drive Cup will be awarded to the AJHL Champion at the conclusion of the 2013 Playoffs and will be the ultimate goal of every team for the next five seasons.
Gas Drive will also hold the rights to several exclusive properties, including naming rights to the AJHL Playoffs, AJHL Playoff MVP Award, and will create the Gas Drive Scholarship Program. The new scholarship program will provide one current or former AJHL Athlete with a $1,500 scholarship towards their post secondary education at the conclusion of each season.

The quest for the AJHL Gas Drive Cup will commence on Friday, September 7th as the 2012 AJHL Regular Season officially opens. The 2012-2013 regular season will consist of 16 teams competing in 480 games, including two games at the 6th Annual AJHL Showcase. The 2013 AJHL Gas Drive Playoffs will kick off on March 5th, 2013.
