Hockey East Commitments

The University of New Hampshire got a verbal commitment from Grayson Downing who played for the Fraser Valley Bruins of the British Columbia Major Midget League. The 5'11 and 165lbs forward had 15 goals and 25 assists in 32 games. Next year, he will play with Westside of the British Columbia Hockey League.Commitments

This is the second 92 born player that the Wildcats got from British Columbia. They got a commitment from defenseman Joey Laleggia. With the Vancouver Northwest Giants also of the British Columbia Major Midget League he had 7 goals and 34 assists 40 games.

With the MLB Trade Deadline that passed, teams like to answer their rival teams moves. Boston University got two commitments this week to match Boston College's commitments from last week.

The first one is Sean Escobedo a 90 defenseman who played for Apple Core of the Eastern Junior Hockey League. He had 2 goals and 11 assists in 32 games. He will be the first 2010 recruit for the Terriers. He will join the Tri City Storm of the USHL the next two seasons.

Wade Megan from South Kent Prep is the second player to commit to Boston University. With South Kent he had 24 tallys and 29 assists in 36 games. The 91 power forward also committed for the 2010 season. He will play one year of juniors before heading to BU.

More NTDP news, John Wroblewski has been named an assistant coach for the Under-17 team. They will name the U-17 team tomorrow.
