Crusaders Jones commits to Ohio State Buckeyes

Press Release

The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce that Nicholas Jones has committed to the Ohio State University Buckeyes NCAA Hockey Program.

Nicholas is currently in his second year with the Crusaders and is from Edmonton where he played his Bantam and Midget hockey with the Knights of Columbus Hockey Program. “Jonesy has had a very strong start to the 2013-14 season and is very focused on his development as a player,” says Crusaders GM/Head Coach Tim Fragle. “ He is a competitor that has a very structured two-way game and a tremendous work ethic.”

The Crusaders organization would like to congratulate Nicholas and his family on his commitment to Ohio State University.

Nicholas Jones now joins Andrew Taverner (Quinnipiac University) and Marshall Donald (Northern Michigan University) as NCAA committed players from this year’s current team.
