Americans add prospect Jordan Topping

Press Release

Kennewick, WA – Tri-City Americans Governor/General Manager Bob Tory announced today that the team has signed 16-year-old prospect Jordan Topping to a standard WHL Players Contract.

Topping, a 5’11 170-pound left wing from Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, spent last season with North Island Silvertips of the British Columbia Major Midget League, appearing in 40 games and registering 8 goals, 17 points and 26 penalty minutes.  Originally drafted by Tri-City in the 8th round (175th overall) of the 2012 Bantam Draft, Topping becomes the 7th member of the Americans’ 2012 Draft class to sign with the club.  Jordan has no relation to current Americans’ captain, Mitch Topping.

“Jordan had had a tremendous training camp after a strong Midget season last year,” explained Tory.  “We are excited about his future with our hockey club.”
