RED DEER, AB – Brent Sutter,
General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced
today the reassignment of 19-year old defenceman Riley Boomgaarden to
the Melfort Mustangs of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.

With this move, the Rebels have 25 players on their roster including Mathew Dumba who is currently with the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League.
