OHL Round-Up

In Plymouth, Adam Henrique scored three goals, including the game-winner early in the second period to help the Windsor Spitfires double the Whalers 4-2 in the OHL playoffs on Saturday.

Windsor wins the series 4-2 and will face the London Knights in the Rogers OHL Western Conference Championship Series starting on Wednesday in Windsor.

Dale Mitchell opened the scoring for the Spitfires 5:54 into the first period and Henrique added to the lead less than a minute later. Henrique scored again 1:02 into the second period to push Windsor's lead to three goals before Ryan Hayes replied for Plymouth midway through the second period. Matt Carie added a powerplay goal early in the third period to cut the lead to one but Henrique iced the win with an empty-netter in the final minute of the game.

Andrew Engelage made 32 saves in the win while Matt Hackett allowed three goals on 43 shots in the loss.

The Belleville Bulls and Brampton Battalion also open the Rogers Eastern Conference Championship Series on Wednesday in Belleville. It marks the first time that the four regular season division winners have all advanced to the conference finals in the playoffs.
