QMJHL CSR Challenge

BOUCHERVILLE, Friday, April 17, 2009 – Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Central Scouting (CSR) is hosting its annual Hockey Challenge this week-end at the Martin-Brodeur Arena in Saint-Leonard (Montreal). One hundred and twenty players are expected to take part in the two-day event.

All the participants are eligible for the upcoming QMJHL Entry Draft, which will be held in Moncton on Saturday, June 6. The event represents a great opportunity for these young players to prove they are ready to take the next step in their hockey careers. The Challenge kicks-off at noon on Saturday and ends Sunday afternoon.

The players are divided into six teams: TELUS, REEBOK, COMFORT INN, OLD DUTCH, SUBWAY and ALL WEATHER WINDOWNS. Each team will play two games.

Of note, the Martin-Brodeur Arena is located at 5300, boulevard Robert in Saint-Leonard (Montreal). Tickets will be on sale at the door.
