Lowry Signs ATO With St. John's IceCaps

Former Swift Current Broncos captain Adam Lowry has signed an Amateur Tryout Agreement with the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League, the primary affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets.

Lowry played a complete 72-games with the Swift Current Broncos this season where he posted a career-high 45 goals, 43 assists and 88 points.  The 6’5”, 201-pound product of Calgary, AB wrapped up the 2012-13 season ranking 12th overall in the WHL in scoring and tied for second in shorthanded goals with 6.

He was also named Husky WHL Player of the Month for December where he collected 21 points (13G,8A) and posted a +7 rating.

Lowry was selected by the Winnipeg Jets in the 3rd round, 67th overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
