PHL announces Top Prospects Tournament rosters

The North American Prospects Hockey League (PHL) has announced the rosters for its upcoming Top Prospects Tournament, which will be held from May 6-8 at the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka, Kan.

Each Top Prospects team - Team Black, Team Green, Team Red and Team White - is comprised of 20 of the top Midget Major (18U) players in the league, with the participants chosen by the Top Prospects Tournament Selection Committee. An North American Hockey League (NAHL) coach will coach each team.

Held in conjunction with the NAHL's Robertson Cup Championship Tournament, the PHL Top Prospects Tournament will consist of a three-game round robin followed by a championship game and a third-place game.

The PHL, which will begin its third season in 2011-12, has already established itself as the premier Midget and Bantam league in North America.
