Knights Trade Phil Varone

LONDON, ONTARIO: London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter today announced that the London Knights have traded Overage Centre Phil Varone to the Erie Otters. In exchange for Varone the Knights will receive Windsor's 3rd Round Pick in 2011 and Erie's 2nd Round Pick in 2012. Varone, 20 will join the Otters tomorrow when they host Plymouth. Varone was one of 4 London Knights Overage Players on the London Knights roster. Varone was acquired along with Steve Tarasuk and draft picks from the Kitchener Rangers in January 2008 in exchange for Steve Mason.
