Brandon Herrod Named Raiders Playoff MVP

Prince Albert SK- The Prince Albert Raiders are proud to announce that Brandon Herrod has been named the team’s Most Valuable Player for 2011 Kal-Tire/Husky WHL Playoffs.

The 19 year old from Meadow Lake led the team in playoff scoring with one goal and five assists for six points in as many games in the Eastern Conference Quarter Final against the Saskatoon Blades. Herrod had points in three of the six games that included a three point performance in game three of series when the Raiders doubled the Blades 6-3. He finished fourth on the team in regular season scoring with 28 goals and 40 assists for 68 points in 71 games. Herrod finished the regular season riding a season high 10 game point streak playing on the team’s top line with Mark McNeill and Todd Fiddler.
