Chill's Frischmon commits to Mercyhurst

Press Release

The Coulee Region Chill has announced that forward Zac Frischmon has committed to Mercyhurst College (Atlantic Hockey) for next season.

Frischmon, who competed in both of this year’s North American Hockey League (NAHL) Top Prospects Tournaments, led the Chill in regular-season scoring with 65 points (31 goals) in 58 games.

“Zac has been one of the league’s top forwards all season and has worked extremely hard to be a complete player,” said Chill head coach Garrett Strot.

Frischmon, a 20-year-old from Blaine, Minn., is the third player from this year’s Chill team to commit to a Division I program, joining defenseman Mike McDonald and goaltender Paul Moberg, both Air Force Academy recruits.

“Zac plays with a lot of determination and that will carry over at Mercyhurst,” Strot added.
