Monsters to Return for 2013-2014 Season

Press Release

Fresno, CA - The Fresno Monsters organization announced today it will host a team in the Western States Hockey League for the 2013-2014 season.  The team will play 21 home games at Gateway Ice Center.  Earlier this month Gateway Ice Center explained in a press release that the ice rink will remain open through April 2014.

Fresno-native Bryce Dale will continue to lead the charge as Head Coach of the Fresno Monsters.  He explains, " We are very happy that Gateway Ice Center will remain open for another year.  This is a step in the right direction for the Fresno community and to continue the growth of the youth hockey program and for Fresno Monsters' players to advance to college hockey and beyond."

Coach Dale will have some help on the bench this season.  The Monsters have added fellow Fresno-native Jason Rivera and former Monsters' player Zach Alvarez to the coaching staff as assistant coaches.

The Fresno Monsters 2013-2014 season schedule will be released soon.  More information will be available soon on the team's website at www.fresnomonsters.com.
