Fraser keys Clips offence in early going at WCC, wins POW

 Nanaimo Clippers forward Greg Fraser has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending April 28, the league announced Monday.

Fraser had a goal and an assist and was named Player of the Game in Sunday's 7-2 victory over the Brooks Bandits as the Clippers evened their record at 1-1 in the Crescent Point Energy Western Canada Cup. The hometown Nanaimo product also had a goal in the Clippers' opening-night 4-3 loss to the Yorkton Terriers.

The 20-year-old is currently in a tie for second in goals and points at the WCC.
