The helpers went to Nick Ross (Kamloops Blazers, WHL, Phoenix) and Dana Tyrell (Prince George Cougers, WHL, Tampa Bay). 28 seconds later P.K. Subban (Belleville Bulls, OHL, Montreal) got Red on the board with a penalty shot. He beat Chet Pickard (Tri-City, WHL, Nashville).

Just under two minutes into the third period, at the 1:50 mark, Tyler Ennis (Medicene Hat Tigers, WHL, Buffalo) cut the lead into half. Chris Terry (Plymouth Whalers, OHL, Carolina) and Jamie Benn (Kelowna Rockets, WHL, Dallas) got the assists. Jared Spurgeon (Spokane Chiefs, WHL, New York Islanders) got the Red team within one just before the midway point of the period, at 9:36 mark. The helpers went to Terry and Ennis.
