BCHL has new Facebook and Twitter accounts

For fans looking to interact and follow the British Columbia Hockey League, it's important to note the league created new Facebook and Twitter accounts as it continues to build its social media presence.

On Facebook, you can find the current and active page called BCHL Live. Photos, scholarship announcements and other news updates are added daily. On Twitter, you can find the league's active account called @bchllive.

"Our league continues to explore new ways to engage fans and with our 50th season approaching, social media becomes more important," said league communications director Brent Mutis. "We want to get as much momentum as possible and gain some real traction with hockey fans heading into the coming season."

A previous Twitter account called @thebchl will be terminated shortly so be sure to update our information so you'll be up to date.
