The OJHL East Division All-Stars were eliminated from Central Canada Cup contention following a 5-3 loss to the CCHL Robinson Division. The East went a disappointing 0-2-1 during the round robin with their sole point coming during an opening game shootout loss to the QJAAAHL. With the victory, the CCHL Robinson Division clinched first place in the pool and a semi-final match-up tomorrow.

After taking an early 2-1 lead in the 1st period courtesy of goals from Cobourg Cougars forwards Justin Danforth and Dylan Goddard, the CCHL answered back with two more goals of their own to enter the intermission with a 3-2 lead. Goddard scored his second of the game to tie the game at three in the 2nd period and again the CCHL answered back with two goals to win the game 5-3.

The OJHL South-East Conference Gongshow Gear Player-of-the-Month, Dylan Goddard of the Cougars was the team's scoring star throughout the tourney, scoring three goals and four points for the East.
