OJHL SOUTH FALLS TO CCHL ROBINSON

Press Release

The OJHL South All-Stars (photo credit - Robert Lefebvre/Ice Level) fell to the CCHL Robinson Division All-Stars 5-2 in game two of the Central Canada Cup All-Star Challenge in Smiths Falls, Ontario.

Outshot 25-15 in the game, netminder Adrian Ignagni of the St. Michael's Buzzers kept his team in the game, making some outstanding saves along the way. The CCHL Robinson Division, who had played a game last night night versus the CCHL Yzerman Division All-Stars, hit their stride in the 2nd period scoring two goals to take a 3-0 lead before the OJHL South finally answered back.

Daniel Milne, also of the Buzzers, opened the scoring for the OJHL, however, 22 seconds later the CCHL regained their three goal lead. Another Buzzer, Patrick McCarron potted another goal for the South on a shot from the point and then the CCHL Robinson's wrapped it up with an empty-netter.
