Alex Belzile, Nicholas Champion and Cory MacIntosh named TELUS three stars of the week

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, November 22nd, 2010 – Fowards Alex Belzile and Cory MacIntosh, and goaltender Nicholas Champion were named, today, the TELUS three stars of the week from November 15th to November 21st 2010.

Alex Belzile is TELUS first star of the week. The Rimouski Oceanic forward registered two goals and five helpers for a total of seven points, while keeping a +6 rating in two games. He helped a lot to get his team back on the victory road.

The Lewinston MAINEiacs backstop is this week’s second star after he helped his teammates collect two wins in three games with stellar performances against the Quebec Remparts and the Shawinigan Cataractes. He finished the week with a 1,94 goals-against-average and .940 save percentage by stopping 63 of the 67 shots he faced. He was named second and third star on Friday and Saturday respectively. It’s good to mention that Lewiston was on the road last weekend for three games.

The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles winger Cory MacIntosh is the third star following a an impressive two games in two days collecting three goals and four assists, for a total of seven points. Moreover, he finished the week with a +0 rating considering the Eagles lost its game against the PEI Rocket last Friday. He was named second and third star respectively on the Thursday and Friday.
