EHL announces Spring Showcase for U16-U18-U20

Press Release

BOSTON, Mass. -- The Eastern Hockey League has announced its first annual EHL Spring Showcase to be held May 16-18, 2014 at the Haverhill Valley Forum.  The EHL Spring Showcase will feature three levels of competition -- U16, U18 and U20.

All 18 EHL organizations will be entering at least two teams in the event, which will be bolstered by many non-EHL organizations.  The purpose of the Show case is to allow younger players to get on the EHL and NCAA radar, while allowing older players to find roster spots at the Tier III level.

The Eastern Hockey League was formed in 2013 when 12 Atlantic Junior Hockey League teams and six former Eastern Junior Hockey League teams came together with a set of stringent standards aimed at enhancing the player environement.  The EHL is dedicated to moving players to NCAA roster spots.

For more information, or If you are interested in entering a team in the EHL Spring Showcase, please contact Jeff Nygaard, EHL Director of Administration.
