Press Release
Moncton NB - The Moncton Wildcats have traded defenseman, #27 Cameron Yarwood, to the Victoriaville Tigres for 3rd (Charlottetown), 5th (Blainville-Boisbriand) and 8th (Victoriaville) round draft picks in 2014.
Roger Shannon, Director of Hockey Operations for the Moncton Wildcats said, “We could not refuse such a good offer like this to move a 19 year old player in a year where we are working toward building for the future, picking up three picks in the top 8 rounds in 2014, allowing us to draft 3 young '98 born players next spring. As a Free Agent player signed back in the spring, Cameron served us very well and we hope we made a difference for him as well”.
As an organization, we want to extend a sincere thank you to Cameron for his time here, although brief, just half a season, he made a great contribution towards the Wildcats success in the first half of the year.
