The Winnipeg Jets are pleased to announce they have agreed to terms with forward Ryan Olsen on a three-year, two-way, entry level contract with an average annual value of $726,700.
Olsen,
19, has played in 34 games with the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL so far
this season. In that time, the right-handed centre has recorded 34
points (17G, 17A) and 36 penalty minutes. The Delta, BC native has
played in 238 career WHL games, between Saskatoon and Kelowna, for 136
career points (71G, 65A) and 228 career penalty minutes.
He was originally drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the sixth round, 160th overall, in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
