both Team Illinois (which recently trounced Honeybaked) and Shattuck should be in there; or else it's really just a Canadian midget tournament.
I think the reason why Shattuck's isn't ranked is 1. They aren't in OHL Territory 2. They must not have many players from the OHL Territory.
I can't speak about Team Illinois, but you have to remember this event in March is like the last big event before the OHL Draft. OHL teams want to see the teams with the great number of players that will most likely get drafted. I have never seen Team Illinois, but maybe the OHL sees more potential players from the Honeybaked organization getting drafted and going the OHL route.
Even though Team Illinois "trounced" Honeybaked, Honeybaked is still the top team standing wise in all of the midget minor Tier I Elite League and I think that's the most likely reason why Honeybaked is ranked.
