More Commitments

Two more commitments from Chris Heisenburg's site.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute received a verbal commitment from Brandon Pirri who plays for the Streetsville Derby of the Ontario Provincial Junior "A" League. This is a 2009 recruit. He had 18 goals and 32 assists for 50 points in 40 games. He was an eighth round pick of the Sudbury Wolves of the OHL in 2007.

This is the second commitment that RPI has received in the last two weeks. They got a commitment from National Team Development Program Under 18 forward Jerry D'Amigo. RPI has five forwards committed for the 2009 season and four of them are wingers. Don't be surprised if they had a couple of defenseman this year.

Vermont got a commitment for the 2009 season from The Blake School (Minnesota) defenseman, Blake Doerring. He had a goal and 24 assists in 30 games for the Blake Bears. The Catamounts have three players already committed for the 2009 season. They have a possible fourth commitment for that season.
