Slow Monday

Two OHL signings that happened this weekend.

The Oshawa Generals have apparently signed Neil Conway an overaged goaltender. The Concord, Ohio native split last season between the Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League and the Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League. He spent most of his time with the Gamblers where he was 8-17-4 with a 3.34GAA and a .896SV%. With the Attack, he only appeared in one contest.

The Generals needs a back up goalie. Right now, Daryl Borden should be the starting goalie for Oshawa. This tandem should allow their number one selection Kevin Bailie to develop at the Junior A or Midget level.

The Belleville Bulls and Scott Howe come to terms. Howe was their fourth round selection in the 2008 OHL Priority Selection. Last year with Team Maryland Under 16 team he had 52 goals and 42 assists in 56 games.

Some news that came down in the last hour. The Kitchener Rangers acquired Steve Lock from the Plymouth Whalers for a 15th round pick in 2010.

Yale received a 2011 commitment from 92 winger Charles Orzetti. He hails from New Jersey.

The Halifax Mooseheads have released their training camp roster.

That's My Take
