Doyle suspended four games

BOUCHERVILLE, Tuesday, September 8, 2009 – The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Disciplinary Prefect today announced that forward Chris Doyle of the P.E.I. Rocket has been suspended for a total of four games for purposely colliding with an official during last Saturday’s game between the Rocket and the Wildcats.

The decision was rendered after reviewing the videotape of the incident and after consulting all concerned parties.

In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the Disciplinary Prefect will not be available for further comment.
