SEASON-OPENING ROSTER ANNOUNCED

Saint John Sea Dogs Director of Hockey Operations Mike Kelly announced on Monday the team’s season-opening roster for the upcoming 2009-2010 campaign. The Sea Dogs will open the year with 24 players on their active roster, a total which includes two goaltenders, eight defensemen, and 14 forwards. The Sea Dogs also announced today that 18-year old winger Andrew Langan has been designated for assignment with the Woodstock Slammers of the MJAHL. Langan scored one goal for Saint John in three games played during the ’09 pre-season. A native of Quispamsis, NB, Langan was originally selected by the Sea Dogs in the fifth round (73rd overall) of the 2007 QMJHL Entry Draft.
