Kenny Ryan added to USA's WJC Camp

Press Release

Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires are proud to announce that USA Hockey has added right-winger Kenny Ryan to its 29-man roster for the Team USA National Junior Selection Camp to be held from December 17 - 19, 2009 in Grand Folks, North Dakota. Ryan will join Spitfire defenseman Cam Fowler at the camp, which will determine Team USA's National Junior roster for the upcoming 2010 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships, to be hosted in Saskatoon and Regina, Saskatchewan from December 26, 2009 - January 5, 2010.

Ryan will be one of seven Spitfires attending national junior selection camps for the 2010 World Championships as Spitfire forwards Taylor Hall, Greg Nemisz, Adam Henrique and defenseman Ryan Ellis are currently participating in Team Canada's camp and forward Richard Panik will be joining Team Slovakia's camp.

Spitfires Vice-President and General Manger Warren Rychel offered his thoughts on Ryan's inclusion to the Team USA camp, "the Windsor Spitfires are excited that Kenny has been selected to Team USA's Junior Camp. Kenny has played exceptionally well for our team in the short time that he has been with us. The Windsor Spitfire organization wishes him and Cam Fowler the very best of luck in their quest to make Team USA and we hope to see our five other players involved in national junior camps make their respective clubs."
