Dupas in as Head Coach for Spruce Kings

PRINCE GEORGE, BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) today announced that Ed Dempsey has been relieved of his duties of General Manager and Head Coach of the hockey club. Taking over as the head coach of the Prince George Spruce Kings is Dave Dupas (pron: do‐paw).

Dupas has more than ten years of coaching experience at the Major Midget, Junior ‘B’ andJunior ‘A’ levels. Dupas also has four years of experience as a player in the British ColumbiaJunior Hockey League, another three years of NCAA Div I experience and four years playingsemi‐pro.

Dave Dupas will join the Prince George Spruce Kings for their next game – Thursday November25th in Westside versus the Warriors. The following night the Spruce Kings play in Merrittbefore returning home for Saturday night’s game in the Coliseum against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

The Prince George Spruce Kings would like to thank Ed Dempsey for his long tenure, dedicationand tireless work at promoting the team, its players and the city of Prince George and wish himall the best.
