MILLIONAIRES AND JAHRAUS PART WAYS

Press Release

The Melville Millionaires and 20 year old goaltender Kyle Jahraus have parted ways. Head coach Jamie Fiesel says Jahraus has gone home to Saskatoon after requesting a trade.

“We’re talking to teams right now because we want to move him on,” Fiesel said. “ Its an unfortunate situation for Kyle. We traded for him expecting him to be our starter, but he just never felt comfortable here for whatever reason. We had more of an expectation for him and when a 17 year old(Zach Rakochy) takes his job, it leaves him in a bad position so we decided it was time for him to leave.”

Jahraus had played in 13 games this season sporting a win-loss record of 4-8-0 with a goals against average of 4.05. He came to Melville from La Ronge this summer in a deal that saw Logan Herauf go to the Ice Wolves.
