Fronts Acquire Gaulton From Erie

Press Release

The Kingston Frontenacs are pleased to announce that they have acquired overage defenceman Mitch Gaulton from the Erie Otters in exchange for a 6th round selection in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection.

Gaulton, playing in his 5th OHL season, has appeared in 14 games scoring twice and adding four assists for six points. He has also accumulated 15 minutes in penalties.

“With the addition of Gaulton, we’ve added experience and another left handed shot,” said Larry Mavety, Director of Hockey Operations and General Manager. “This will help solidify our blueline,” he added.

Gaulton, originally selected by the Otters with the 4th overall pick in the 2006 OHL Priority Selection has appeared in 160 games in his career, scoring 15 goals and tallying 66 points. He has also added 136 minutes in penalties. He was also the New York Rangers 6th round selection, 171st overall in 2008.
