BOUCHERVILLE, Friday, December 2nd, 2011 - To mark the month of MOVEMBER, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League officials, supervisors as well as league office staff raised a total of $4,410. The funds raised will go towards research to cure the number one form of male cancer: prostate cancer. The Canadian Hockey League in partnership with the two other regional leagues, the OHL and the WHL, all took part in this worthwhile cause.
The funds raised will be directed to programs run directly by Movember and Prostate Cancer Canada. Together, the two channels work together to ensure that Movember funds are supporting a broad range of innovative programs.
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League would like to congratulate its officials and supervisers for their participation in proudly sporting their 'mo' throughout the month
