Joe Washkurak joins the Chargers with a a vast amount of experience in the hockey world. Previously he has coached in the OHL , OJHL and OCAA, where he won a championship. Washkurak has been around the hockey world for over 30 years and has helped serval teams in numerous different leagues while gaining a wealth of knowledge, which brings new ideas and a new identity to the Chargers club.
"I look forward to working with Lloyd and Tony to build a championship team in the coming season," stated Washkurak.
General Manager Tony Clarke was thrilled to have Washkurak join the club, "It is very exciting to have Joe on board with all of his experience and knowledge and we are looking forward to the new season. One of Joe's attributes is he doesn't accept losing and he holds everybody accountable; which is exactly what this team needs."
