CUDDEMI COMMITS TO CANISIUS

Press Release Mississauga Chargers forward Ralph Cuddemi (photo credit - Brian Watts/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Canisius College Griffins beginning with the 2012-13 Atlantic Hockey season. The 6’1”, 189 lbs. native of Concord, Ontario recently completed his second OJHL season as a member of the Mississauga Chargers. Cuddemi started his OJHL career as a 17-year old rookie last season with the Georgetown Raiders, playing 30 games and notching 23 points before being traded to the Chargers. He finished the season on almost a point/game pace with 17 points in 19 games to finish fourth overall in scoring on the club. This season the lanky playmaker was a force from start to finish, leading the Chargers in virtually all statistical categories, including 27 goals, 36 assists and 63 points. Cuddemi’s play earned him a spot on the South Division All-Star Team that competed at the inaugural Central Canada Cup All-Star Challenge in Smiths Falls, Ontario. Congratulations to Ralph and best of luck as his hockey career progresses! (Nathan can be reached at fourniern@students.nescom.edu)
