INDIANA ICE MOVING TO BANKERS LIFE FIELDHOUSE

Press Release INDIANAPOLIS– The Indiana Ice of the USHL is proud to announce that the team will play the majority of the team’s home games at Bankers Life Fieldhouse for the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons, while a limited number of home games will be played at Pan Am Plaza. The 2013-14 season will celebrate the ten-year anniversary for the Indiana Ice and the USHL inIndianapolis. Bankers Life Fieldhouse has been home to several Ice games over the last eight years including the annual Pack the House for Charity night and holds the all-time Tier One North American single game attendance record of 14,892 played during the 2004-05 season. The Ice are considered to be one of the top Tier One franchises in North America and recently secured their eighth consecutive playoff spot since joining the USHL in 2004. The 2009 season included a National Tier One and Clark Cup Championship. “We are extremely proud to partner with Pacers Sports & Entertainment at Bankers Life Fieldhouse for the next two seasons. We believe the move downtown and playing in one of the top facilities in the world, will allow us to continue the upward trend with the Indiana Ice brand in the USHL.” said Indiana Ice CEO Paul Skjodt. “The Ice hockey set up and technology in place at Bankers Life Fieldhouse will only enhance the experience for our fans across the board. This location will allow us to expand our reach with a new base of fans and community partners around central Indianamoving forward. Come join us and celebrate our new One Puck ~ One Purpose campaign that will coincide with our first puck drop and playoff game on April 20th at Pepsi Coliseum.” The recently completed Georgia Street renovation project will also connect Bankers Life Fieldhouse and Pan American Plaza which will house the new Indiana Ice headquarters, a limited number of home games and the Indiana Ice training center. The outdoor plaza is scheduled to undergo a major renovation this summer and new upgrades are in the planning stages for both the American and Olympic Rink spaces. Bankers Life Fieldhouse seating charts, 2012 ticket flyers and season ticket deposits will be available beginning with our first playoff game at Pepsi Coliseum on April 20th, the remainder of the playoff schedule and through July 31st, 2012.
