Kings’ Naud named RBC Player of Month

Press Release

The RBC Player of the Month for October is Guillaume Naud of the Dauphin Kings.

The 20-year-old forward was a key figure in the Kings’ offensive attack, reflected in 17 points (7-10) during a 12-game span.

The runners up are 20 year old forward Jesse Sinatynski of the Dauphin Kings and 20 year old goaltender Landon Noel of the Swan Valley Stampeders.

Sherwood Hockey Defenseman of the Month

David Haaf, 20, of the Waywayseecappo Wolverines was outstanding during the past month. Defensively, he was a key figure along the Wolverines’ blueline, in addition to his outstanding offensive game ─ 13 points (7-6) in 12 games.

The runners up are 19 year old Riley Hiebert of the Swan Valley Stampeders and 19 year old Tanner Butler of the Dauphin Kings.

MGEU Goaltender of the Month

OCN Blizzard netminder Justin McDonald has been a key member of the club’s success this season.

The 20-year-old posted a 2.63 GAA, .922 save percentage, enroute to a 6-2 record ─ two wins being shutouts.

The runners up are 19 year old Byron Spriggs of the Winnipeg Blues and 20 year old Landon Noel of the Swan Valley Stampeders.

IBAM Rookie of the Month

Tristan Keck is making a smooth adjustment to Junior A hockey. The 17-year-old forward scored five goals, while producing 14 points over 10 games.

The runners up are 18 year old goaltender Brian Archibald of the Dauphin Kings and 17 year old forward Drake Bodie of the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.
