Howarth steps down as North Stars coach

The Thunder Bay North Stars Junior A Hockey Club announced Sunday that Todd Howarth has advised the ownership group that he is stepping down as head coach of the North Stars effective immediately, citing personal reasons.

The ownership group of the North Stars wish to thank Todd for his many years of service to the team and to the organization.

He leaves the Thunder Bay North Stars and the Superior International Junior Hockey League as the longest serving coach and the coach with the best record in SIJHL history.

The ownership group and the players of the Thunder Bay North Stars wish Todd well in his future endeavours.

A further announcement will be made regarding Coach Howarth’s interim replacement in due course.
