Kolton Baptiste of the OCN Blizzard has been named MJHL Player of the Week, Commissioner Kim Davis announced today.
Baptiste, 19, tallied five points (3-2) last week for the Blizzard, who recently lost the Sher-Wood Division final in six games to Winnipeg Saints.
The runners up are 18 year old goaltender Adam Iwan of the Portage Terriers and 20 year old forward Paul Crane of the Winnipeg Saints.
MJHL Championship Final
The battle for the Turnbull Trophy is down to two teams ─ Portage Terriers and Winnipeg Saints. Terriers, defending MJHL champions, advanced to the final after defeating Winnipeg Blues in six games. The schedule is below:
