The Green Bay Gamblers had their eight-game road streak snapped in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Muskegon Lumberjacks on Saturday night, but the point earned help them to clinch the Anderson Cup title outright.
It is the third time in the past four years that the Gamblers have captured the Anderson Cup and the fifth time in team history they have earned the regular season title.
Green Bay currently holds a 42-8-3 record (87 points) with seven games remaining. Finishing with the most points in the regular season also guarantees home-ice advantage for the Gamblers throughout the Clark Cu Playoffs.
