Locker resigns as Clydesdales head coach

Press Release

DULUTH, Minn. -- Superior International Junior Hockey League coach of the year finalist Chris Locker has announced his resignation as head coach of the Duluth Clydesdales, effective immediately.

In just one season behind the bench with the Clydesdales, Locker led Duluth to a franchise record 20 wins in the 2011-12 campaign.

That marked a nine-win and 17-point improvement from a year ago, the club's first campaign in the SIJHL.

No word on the reasons for Locker's departure or who will be stepping in as the new head coach of the team were made available.
