Chiefs defenceman White commits to Chargers

Chilliwack Chiefs blueliner Anderson White has accepted an offer to play for the University of Alabama-Huntsville Chargers next season.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound defenceman is in his final BCHL season and posted two goals and 12 assists in 25 regular season games with the Chiefs. He spent the previous two seasons with the franchise as well when it was located in Quesnel.

With the Chargers, White will suit up alongside fellow BCHL grads Mac Roy, Graeme Strukoff, Justin Cseter, Alex Allan and Jeff Vanderlugt.

UAH competes in NCAA Division I as an independent school.
