Generals Acquire Trevor Morbeck from Kingston

Press Release

Oshawa Generals General Manager Jeff Twohey announced today that the Generals have acquired to rights to Trevor Morbeck from the Kingston Frontenacs.

In return, the Generals have sent a 10th round pick in the 2015 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection to the Frontenacs.

Morbeck, a right winger, is in his fourth year in the league and was originally drafted in the third round by the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in 2009, going 60th overall.

The Jackson, Wisconsin native has shown excellent development during his time in the league, putting up 8 goals and 28 points in 44 games with the Kingston Frontenacs last season.  He has 5 goals and 7 points in 15 games this season and enjoyed a four game goal streak in October.

“Trevor is an experienced winger with size and will be a significant asset especially considering that we have been short lately,” commented Jeff Twohey.  “Bringing him in gives us the potential to play a full four lines again.”
