Press Release
The Indiana Jr. Ice of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) are pleased to announce the 18U forward Evan Okeley has signed a tender with the Wichita Falls Wildcats of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
Okeley, 17, has played in all nine of his team’s games thus far this
season as the Ice have fashioned a 7-2-0 record to date, which is good
for a tie for 1st place in the PHL 18U’s Red Division.
In those nine games, Okeley has six goals and six assists. The
Carmel, Indiana, native is current riding a three-game point streak as
Indiana posted a 3-1-0 record at the NAPHL East Showcase in Romeoville,
IL.
Okeley (6’1/195) was a part of Indiana’s 16U team, which won the
NAPHL Championship last season. Okeley and the rest of his 18U Ice
teammates will be on display at the fourth NAPHL event of the season in
Blaine, Minnesota, from November 30-December 3.
