Musketeers Forward Chooses Air Force

Sioux City Musketeers forward David Henry has committed to play hockey at the United States Air Force Academy beginning next season.

The 20-year-old has appeared in all but one of the 38 games for the Musketeers this season and recorded 15 points (3g, 12a).  It is the second USHL season for the native of Foster City, California after putting up 20 points (10g, 10a) in 56 regular season games for Sioux City last year.

Defensemen Taylor Fleming of the Fargo Force and R.J. Majkozak of the Sioux Falls Stampede are also committed to play hockey at Air Force.

The school is located in Colorado Springs and is a member of Atlantic Hockey.  Eight USHL alumni are on the roster for the Falcons this season; Stephen Carew (Green Bay Gamblers), Kyle De Laurell (Lincoln Stars), Mike Walsh (Chicago Steel), Chad Demers (Fargo Force), Cole Gunner (Tri-City/Chicago/Fargo), Dan Weissenhofer (Fargo/Lincoln), Max Edson (Waterloo Black Hawks), and Max Hartner (Green Bay Gamblers).

Air Force is coached by Frank Serratore who spent six seasons in the USHL as a head coach, including the 1989-90 season when he led the Omaha Lancers to the Clark Cup title.
