PLAGUED BY INJURY, ICERAYS ADD STOVALL & BEAULIEU

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi IceRays,  after playing six games in a nine day span have added forwards Chris Stovall and Dakota Beaulieu to the roster for this upcoming weekend due to several key injuries.

Perry D’Arrisso, Trevor Heuser, Caleb O’Brien, and Charles Baldwin will all miss this weekend due to injuries that occurred over the past week while Corpus Christi was on the road in Wichita Falls and Amarillo.

"After last week’s difficult schedule, we have a banged up squad,” said Rays’ head coach Justin Quenneville.  “This will give an opportunity for several players to step up their roles and for us to bring in additional bodies to help out.”

D’Arrisso was injured in the Wednesday night game at Wichita Falls, while Heuser, O’Brien, and Baldwin all were hurt in the weekend split at Amarillo.

Stovall started the year with Corpus Christi and picked up a goal in three games played before returning to the Alliance Bulldogs (Tier 1 U18).  In 26 games with the Bulldogs this year, the 5’9’’ 175lb forward has 12 goals and 10 assists.

Dakota comes to the Rays’ from the New Mexico Renegades in the WSHL where he has 22 goals and 9 assists in 31 games.

Quenneville is looking for several players to step up “with several key players out of the lineup again this weekend, everyone's role is heightened."
