Press Release

Nanaimo BC - The Nanaimo Clippers along with the Crescent Point Energy Western Canada Cup Committee are pleased to announce children will be able to view all 13 games of the 2013 Western Canada Cup for only $99.

The Crescent Point Energy Western Canada Cup will take place April 26th – May 5th, 2013 at Frank Crane Arena in Nanaimo, BC. Participating in this tournament are the League Champions of the MJHL, SJHL, AJHL, BCHL and the host team Nanaimo Clippers, with the top two teams in the tournament earning berths to the prestigious 2013 RBC Cup in Summerside, PEI.

“Giving kids an opportunity to attend all 13 games of this tournament for $99 was an easy decision for our committee,” commented Graham Calder, Chairman of the 2013 WCC Host Committee. “For them to have the chance to see this caliber of hockey for just over $7 per game exemplifies the spirit of this great event.”
