Stars Forward Commits to Bentley University

Press Release

Lincoln Stars forward Will Suter has committed to play college hockey at Bentley University beginning next season.

Suter, 21, has established USHL career highs this season in goals (10), assists (16), and points (26) while appearing in 50 games for the Stars.  Four of his 10 goals this season have been game-winners.  The Omaha, Nebraska native scored a goal in his hometown in February during the first-ever USHL game played outdoors as the Stars took on the Omaha Lancers in the Mutual of Omaha Battles on Ice.  The Stars assistant captain opened this season on an eight-game point streak, amassing 11 points (5g, 6a) over that stretch.

It is the second full season with the Stars for Suter after putting up 23 points (8g, 15a) in 50 games for the team last season.  He first broke into the USHL in the 2009-10 season, playing two games for the Stars, and then appeared in 10 games for the Sioux City Musketeers in 2010-11.

Chicago Steel defenseman Bill Eiserman is also committed to play hockey at Bentley University next season.  The NCAA Division I hockey program, located in Waltham, Massachusetts, is a member of the Atlantic Hockey Conference and has six USHL alumni on the Falcons roster; Andrew Fitzstephens (Chicago Steel), Brett Gensler (Youngstown/Cedar Rapids), Jared Rickord (Cedar Rapids RoughRiders), Alex Kubiak (Chicago/Green Bay), and Gabe Antoni (Dubuque Fighting Saints.
