Sylvester scored in six of eight games he played during the month while putting up multiple points in five of eight games, including a seven-point performance versus Saskatoon on March 5th. He was named the game’s 1st Star in three of his eight appearances in March.
Sylvester finished the 2012-13 WHL regular season with a career high 41 goals and 90 points in 68 games for the Hitmen, putting him in 10th place in WHL scoring while helping the Hitmen to a third-place finish in the Eastern Conference. Sylvester was selected to the 2013 WHL Eastern Conference Second All-Star team for his excellent season.
Selected by the Hitmen in the eighth round, 168th overall, in the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft, Sylvester has played 315 career regular-season games over five seasons in Calgary, amassing 229 points.
