CJHL Prospects Game

Team East Press Release

November 26^th, 2008 - The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced today the roster for Team East at the upcoming 2008 CJHL Prospects Game. Summerside, PEI will host the 2008 CJHL Prospects Game, a showcase that will see the best Junior A hockey players in the country compete at Credit Union Place on December 16^th & 17th.

The 2008 Team East roster is composed of 11 players from the OJHL, 6 CJHL players, 2 MJAHL players, and 1 NOJHL player. The Team East Roster includes 11 prospects who recently competed on Team Canada East at the 2008 World Junior A Challenge in Camrose, Alberta. Seven of the prospects on Team East were listed as "Players to Watch" by NHL Central Scouting in October 2008.

The player selection is a combined effort of the CJHL and NHL Central Scouting. Team East and Team West will each consist of two goaltenders, six defensemen and twelve forwards. The roster for Team West was announced earlier this week and is available at www.cjhlhockey.com.

Team West Press Release

November 24th, 2008 - The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced today the roster for Team West at the 2008 CJHL Prospects Game. The city of Summerside, PEI will host the 2008 CJHL Prospects Game, a showcase that will see the best Junior A hockey players in Canada face off at Credit Union Place on December 16th & 17th.

The player selection is a combined effort of the CJHL and NHL Central Scouting. Each team will consist of two goaltenders, six defensemen and twelve forwards. The 2008 roster is composed of 5 players from the AJHL and BCHL, 4 players from the MJHL, and 3 players from the SIJHL and SJHL.

The Team West roster of 20 prospects includes 6 players who recently competed at the 2008 World Junior A Challenge in Camrose, Alberta. Nine of the prospects on Team West were listed as "Players to Watch" by NHL Central Scouting in October 2008.
