Crusaders Seeking Head Coach/General Manager

The Sherwood Park Crusaders Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club is currently seeking an individual to fill the position of HeadCoach/General Manager. This position start date is immediate.

The Hockey Coach/General Manager will work with and be responsible to the volunteer Board of Directors while managing the hockey operations of the Sherwood Park Crusaders. Specific responsibilities will be to coach and manage the on-ice hockey operations, as well as other events including camps and hockey schools. The individual will be expected to work with other staff, and the board to ensure efficient operations of the hockey club.

Qualifications should include a high level of technical abilities, experience in the administration of a top-flight hockey program and has an extensive employment history as a hockey coach. The successful candidate is expected to be a frontline community minded team player who meets well with the public and is capable of promoting the Sherwood Park Crusaders within the community.

The Sherwood Park Crusaders Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club is a member of the 16 team Alberta Junior Hockey League. The Crusaders have had a long history of successful operations and are a community owned team which is run as a non-profit society.

Sherwood Park is a progressive city/community of over 87,000 people and is located just east of Edmonton, Alberta’s capital city.
